Found this hidden gem a little over 6 months ago, and very time I go I grow to love it more and more! At first, I was intimidated by the menu as the offerings pair unfamiliar flavor combinations. However, no dish has yet to disappoint me. Don’t be afraid to go off script and try something other than the burger, though I’ve had it - it’s extremely juicy. Not only is all the food really flavorful, but all the staff members are really friendly which fits in very well with the chill atmosphere of the space.

Another genius concept from Benjy! My wife and I enjoyed the loveliest date night here to celebrate my 36th bday. The retro decor alone is so detailed and inspiring. The ambiance of the restaurant is fun and casual but still flaunts that cool Houston inner city vibe where you can dress nice if you're going out after dinner. The service was excellent. Our server had a few jokes up his sleeve so haha'd a couple times. For drinks, we ordered the Left Handed Hook. It's a delicious, frothy, pina colada type drink I ordered for myself but my wife ended up only letting me have a couple sips cuz she drank most of it. She says it was delicious! I ordered my favorite beer, a Lone Pint IPA - really one of the best beers out there. For appetizers, we ordered the dumplings. YOU HAVE TO GET THESE DUMPLINGS! Go now and get some. Don't share. Just order one for yourself to enjoy. These dumplings with the charred cabbage and creme freshe are Perfect. Capital P. The duck cheeseburger is the best burger in town. I can confidently say that. Try it and your burger standards will be raised. The bone-in pork chop is huge and my wife loved that tasty, pounded meat! For dessert, we got the creme brulee with berries. It was so smooth and delectable, I wanted to sing All of Me by John Legend to every single bite. This place deserves every star in the sky! We can't wait to go back and try more menu items!

Eau Tour has truly left an indelible mark on me. It's not just a restaurant; it's an experience. From the moment I walked in, the modern design captivated me. The sleek lines, contemporary decor, and tasteful use of space created an atmosphere that felt both chic and welcoming. But what truly stood out was the service. It was nothing short of exceptional. The staff made me feel like a valued guest from the moment I stepped through the door. Their recommendations were spot-on, enhancing my dining journey. Now, let's talk about the food. This restaurant specializes in modern French cuisine, and it does so with finesse. Each dish was a celebration of flavors, expertly prepared and beautifully presented. However, it was their duck dishes that stole the show. The rich, tender duck paired with inventive accompaniments was a culinary delight. One aspect I particularly enjoyed was the bar area. It exuded a vibrant energy, making it an ideal spot for pre-dinner drinks or a casual gathering with friends. The cocktail menu was as impressive as the food menu, offering a delightful array of libations.

Absolutely loved this restaurant. Amanda went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. We ordered oysters, crab roll, steak frites and the burger. Everything was very delicious and we will be coming back for sure.

The space is contemporary and fun with fantastic service. Every single dish was incredible and mixed drinks were exciting. Our serve, Isabel made the experience even more lovely. The bones of the restaurant itself are amazing and they’ve embellished it smartly. The seating is comfortable and the dining room is soft and romantic while still being fairly bright. The food was consistently great which can be a challenge for newer spots sometimes. The dishes themselves playful and well balanced.

Unique French restaurant in Rice Village. The service was great and everyone was very welcoming. The cocktails are good. We tried the ‘not another word’ and ‘strawberry basil Rita’ which were both amazing. We like our cocktails slightly on the sweet side and the basil Rita hit the spot! The food menu is a decent one-pager but everything was delicious. My wife is vegetarian and so we ended up ordering quite a few non-meat items all of them were extremely tasty. As a meat eater I really enjoyed them as well

Great restaurant. Excellent location in Rice Village close to the med center. Awesome happy hour menu from 4-6. The seeded sourdough bread with whipped ricotta, pepper honey & salt is to die for! Good variety of appetizers & entrees. The Red Snapper is a must try.

My girlfriends and I went to Eau Tour in the Rice Village for Houston Restaurant Week. The place is nice with a great ambiance. The waiters are very attentive! They checked on us often to make sure we were happy with our drinks and food. The restaurant is housed in a building with a few other concepts, such as Lee's Den and Local Foods (which we were given a small bag of granola type-mixed nuts as a parting treat). Also to note, entering Eau Tour requires going up a short flight of stairs...
